Front Porch Revival

Ohio-based duo, Front Porch Revival brings to life the sounds of 1920s and 30s era Delta Blues music, covering artists like Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, and many more. In addition, they have crafted new songs true to that traditional vein.
With resophonic and flat-top guitars and in classic blues vocal style, Noah Shull takes you on a vintage journey through the rural south. Steve Frye adds the textured pulse with washboards and the cabbage case stomp. Both are seasoned musicians with an earthy and soulful grasp on the rich culture behind their art. Together, Noah and Steve produce an incredibly moving and rare experience. An honest interpretation of Blues, the way it was played, on the same instruments it was played on—a true Front Porch Revival.

Gas Pump Jockeys

In vintage service station attire, The Gas Pump Jockeys deliver full-service “Big Chill” era rock and roll. This veteran band has been dispensing great retro-rock (or as they like to call it “petro-rock”) for over two decades—staging over 1,100 live performances! This well-lubed band recently performed their milestone 50,000th live song. Their success can be attributed to not only their strong musical and vocal skills, but to their high-test approach to their show. Be prepared to participate—laugh, clap and sing a-long to classic tunes and wonderfully irreverent musical parodies.
The Gas Pump Jockeys—the only band that promises “More Songs Per Gallon Than Any Band in North America!”.

Crystal Gayle

“Before country was ‘cool,’ Crystal was ‘class’…” Never has one reviewer captured a platinum clad, Grammy Award winning career  so beautifully in so few words. Crystal encapsulates everything the dazzling qualities of her name implies—although that name came to her in quite an unusual fashion.  “Crystal” came at the suggestion of Brenda Gayle Webb’s older sister, Loretta Lynn—who knowing there was already a ‘Brenda Lee’ currently successful in the music industry—suggested her younger sibling adopt the name ‘Crystal’ when she began recording.

Once re-named, her musical boundaries have since been seemingly limitless—as proven by her latest much anticipated project—“All My Tomorrows”—a mood influenced collection of American standards.  Songs such as “Cry Me A River,” “Sentimental Journey,” “It Had To Be You,” and “Smile” somehow reach the heights their songwriter’s must have dreamed of when piped through the beautiful chords of Crystal Gayle.    “These are songs any artist loves to sing,” said Crystal in a recent interview. “They’ve endured to become timeless.” Strange to think of anyone as young and vibrant as the artist in question as a “timeless classic” herself—but that indeed describes the course Crystal Gayle’s career has taken. …continue reading

Gloriana

GlorianaFrom the band’s earliest days, the members of Gloriana have always known that good things take time. The country trio first came together in 2008 when brothers Tom and Mike Gossin moved into Rachel Reinert’s Nashville apartment. Together they spent months in cramped quarters, surviving on Ramen Noodles while trying to shape their sound. “Gloriana are three people who have played music for their entire lives,” says Mike. “But we never really caught a break until coming together. Tom and I played in bars for 10 years, but it wasn’t until the three of us got together that we knew we had something special.”

That something special has held Tom, Mike, and Rachel together through all manner of personal and professional struggles over the past several years: from relationship upheavals, to the departure of band-mate Cheyenne Kimball, to long stretches away from loved ones on the road, to wondering whether their music would ever catch fire. Fortunately it did when Gloriana’s 2009 self-titled debut album soared to No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart propelled by the gold-certified single “Wild At Heart”. That same year, they spent two years on the road with Taylor Swift and won both an American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist and a coveted ACM Award for Top New Vocal Group in 2010. …continue reading
